Counselling
It's not always easy to talk to those closest to us about issues that are
affecting us in our lives and we may not always have someone to talk to.
Counselling can provide a safe and confidential space to explore feelings,
relationships or behaviour.
My approach is Humanistic/Cognitive. I believe that each person has the potential for growth and
change, given the right environment with a professional that they can really
trust. Some of the issues a person may bring to Counselling may be about
anxiety, panic, loss, relationships, stress, depression or general low self esteem.
Whatever the issues with the right support it is possible to affect change in
your life.
I use CBT with anxiety, stress, depression, low self esteem and relationship
issues. Getting to the underlying causes
can be enlightening or at least useful to an individual who wants to
understand more about why he or she feels held back in life. Identifying triggers
which cause the above can be very helpful and in time help you to make changes in
your life and move forward. This may happen with short or long term support, I
offer both.
